Sometimes love hurts.
No relationship is ever without its hard times, and even the healthiest ones take work. But when you’re stuck in the same painful cycles, you can start to feel…
Disconnected, whether from your partner, your friends, or even yourself.
Misunderstood, like no matter how you try to say it, no one really hears you.
Hopeless, resigned to the idea that nothing will ever change, or that maybe it’s already too late
If this sounds familiar, know this: you are not alone, and your relationship is not doomed. With the right support and strategies, you can learn the skills to repair and feel close again.
You deserve to feel joyful, secure, and confident in your relationships—and I'm here to show you how.
Hi, I'm Sarah Borrell
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
At the heart of it, aren't we all just seeking connection? The thing is, we live in a culture that doesn't always model what healthy relationships should look like. No one ever taught us how to relate well, so even with our best intentions, we fall into patterns that keep us stuck, hurt the people we love, and leave us feeling alone.
You can break these patterns. And when you do, you open the door to a new way of relating—one where you feel heard, respected, and truly connected. Change is possible, and it can start sooner than you think.
As a licensed therapist and certified Relational Life Therapy practitioner, I’ve helped countless couples and individuals take this step. With the right tools and support, you’ll learn how to grow beyond your old survival strategies, so even when triggers arise, you’ll have new ways to pause and respond as the partner—and person—you want to be.
THE GROUNDWORK FOR CHANGE
The Relationship Bootcamp
Lay a strong foundation for relationship repair through this immersive workshop for couples and individuals. Over the course of two transformative days, you'll learn proven skills to break unhealthy patterns, communicate clearly, and feel connected.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Pass down something better.
Most of what we do in relationships, we learned long before we chose a partner. The way you shut down, push harder, or keep the peace made sense at the time. Relational Life Therapy helps you see where those patterns came from and practice new ones, so the people you love, including the ones who come after you, get something better.
REPAIR AND CONNECT
Couples Therapy
Having the same argument over and over? Feeling more like roommates than partners? Couples therapy helps you see the pattern you’re both caught in, where it comes from, and how to change it, so hard conversations start bringing you closer instead of further apart.
SPACE TO GROW
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is for anyone carrying the weight of stress, anxiety, past hurts, or unhealthy patterns that affect their relationships and everyday life. In one-on-one sessions, you’ll unload what’s weighing you down, and learn to build healthier ways of relating to yourself and the people you love.
LEARN THE SKILLS
Relationship Bootcamp
Healthy relationships take skills most of us were never taught. In two immersive days with other couples and individuals, you’ll learn how to speak so you’re heard, listen without getting defensive, and repair after conflict. Some people use it as a reset on its own; others as a foundation before therapy.
Not sure where to start?
Most people who reach out aren’t sure where to start. Maybe your partner isn’t ready to come. Maybe you’re weighing weekly couples therapy against the Bootcamp, or wondering if a few sessions on your own would help first.
You don’t need to sort that out before reaching out. Tell me a little about what’s going on, and I’ll give you my honest take on where to start, even if that’s somewhere other than with me.
If nothing changes, the distance grows and resentment deepens.
But with the right guidance, you can break old patterns and finally build the connected relationship you long for and deserve.
